Lighting of the Metropolitan Hotel in Bologna: a Novalux project
Novalux has been responsible for the lighting of multiple Hotels, in Italy and around the World, including the Metropolitan hotel, in the heart of Bologna. Novalux carried out a lighting restyling of the top floor of the hotel. The project involved the bedrooms, a terrace suite, and the communal rooftop terrace
They chose Novalux luminaires with simple, but modular, shapes in two types of installation, recessed with SLIM and ceiling-mounted with a custom luminaire, to liven up the ceilings. Light lines integrated into the furnishings and wall coverings to provide courtesy lighting at the entrance to the room. In the suite, the work allowed the renovation of a special light cove with lace decoration, whose texture is enhanced by contrasting light.
Novalux products used include: LED strip, to create unlimited creative light effects. SLIM spotlights, for lighting that is simple and easy to install, yet completely reliable.
