LED lighting: why to choose it
What is the LED?
LED lighting has been a real revolution: Bright and brilliant, modern, cost-effective and environmentally friendly light. The LED is a Light Emitting Diode: an electronic component used to convert electricity into light. When a small current flows through it, the LED emits infrared- and ultraviolet-free light, turning on immediately.
LED lighting is more energy efficient, has a longer lifespan and is more sustainable.

The benefits of LED lighting
- Illuminated and enhanced environments
LED luminaires provide greater efficiency, allowing you to enhance environments, create a variety of settings and customised solutions.
- Energy saving
LED energy consumption is lower than traditional bulbs’ consumption
- Efficiency and durability
LED lights do not need to be heated; they offer 100% power immediately. They have a very long life cycle, even exceeding 50,000 hours.
- Sustainability
LED lights have a lower environmental impact than other traditional sources, they are completely free of mercury, UV and IR radiation (infrared radiation, harmful to the eyes with direct exposure). The LED shines without saturating the environment.

Energy-efficient LED lighting counteracts energy waste and offers an innovative and environmentally sustainable solution for a bright future.

- Safety guaranteed
LED lighting operates at very low voltage and low temperature: a major benefit for the safety of the spaces. LEDs generate heat but, thanks to heat sinks, the power is better used for lighting, optimising efficiency. The LEDs can be installed in contact with wood, plastic, and all materials that are sensitive to excessive heat.
- Different colour temperatures
In incandescent and halogen lamps, the colour temperature is determined by the filament and cannot be changed, whereas LED lights can be obtained at different colour temperatures. The average temperature is rarely higher than 50°.
- Colour variety
From the first red-only LED lights in the 2000s came the LEDs with white light emission. Today, the light obtained can vary greatly in colour tones, making it widely used in the lighting of many different environments.
- Countless uses and solutions
LED lighting is ideal for illuminating all environments, from indoors to outdoors, from private homes to commercial premises and exhibition spaces. LED solutions are copious: the variety of colours, their compactness and flexibility ensure a wide range of creative possibilities in different applications. These include: spots, tracks, LED panels, recessed LED, LED wall lights, LED strips, LED lamps, and even LED ceiling and suspension lights.
- No maintenance
The maintenance costs of LED luminaires are almost zero.
